Procedures followed by us:

Myringoplasty:

This is performed under local anaesthesia to close perforation or a hole in the eardrum. A perforation predisposes to recurrent middle ear infections, which can lead to impaired hearing.

Mastoidectomy:

This is performed to remove the diseased mastoid air cells which sit in a hollow space in the skull just behind the ear. These diseased cells result in ear infection and spread into the skull or spread onto the temporal bone where the parts of the bone should be removed.

Reconstruction of the middle ear:

If the middle ears’ bones are damaged due to trauma, infection, cholesteatoma, surgery or other causes, we can replace them with artificial prostheses to repair them. This delicate procedure gives excellent results.

Tonsillectomy or Adenoidectomy:

Enlarged tonsils and adenoids are a common cause of sleep disruption or snoring in children. Removal of enlarged tonsils and adenoids to remove these parts under general anaesthesia is carried out in this procedure.

Balloon Sinuplasty:

A highly sophisticated technique is done to enlarge the sinus drainage pathways without cutting any tissue. The procedures like radiofrequency volume reduction, coblation palatoplasty and injection snoreplasty with minimal pain.

Turbinate Reduction or Turbinoplasty:

Turbinates’ are tiny, rounded, bony projections inside the breathing passage on each side of the nose. When these turbinates’ get enlarged, the nasal obstruction arises

Micro laryngeal surgeries for hoarseness of voice:

This procedure is done to remove polyps’ nodules, and benign or non-cancerous tumours by using general anaesthesia with a rigid telescope called the endoscope and a microscope to provide magnification.

Paediatric airway management:

Paediatric airway surgery is done for conditions that include subglottic stenosis, laryngomalacia, tracheomalacia, tracheal stenosis, tongue base lesions.

Skull Base Surgery:

This surgery is done to remove both benign and cancerous growths or abnormalities in the underside of the brain by using minimally invasive endoscopic procedures for treating pituitary tumours and to repair CSF leaks.

Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA):

Diagnostic endoscopies and drug-induced sleep endoscopy involve multi-level surgeries such as nasal surgery, palatal surgeries, tongue-based, maxilla-mandibular advancement, genioplasty, etc.

Head and neck Surgery:

Head and neck procedures for thyroid, cervical lymph node biopsies, submandibular gland and parotid gland, congenital head and neck anomalies like a thyroglossal cyst, bronchial cyst and fistula, bronchial sinus, cystic hygromas, haemangiomas, etc.
